Chromebook Reflection

Room 5 have been Writing about our chromebook we have wirten why it is great to have a chromebook at school. This is my reflection of why it is great to have a chromebook.

Its is fun easy and faster because it doesn't waste time and helps us learn more about things around the world like water in Africa and how to build a tippy tap.

Also it is great because you could use keyboard shortcuts if you are finding information on Google, and you could find it faster because you use the keyboard shortcuts.If you are at your house or your friends and it is been checked by teacher at your school.

Isaiah

We are learning about Advent. Isaiah said that the wolf and lamb shall live together in peace.It mean's that the wolf and the lamb are us and that we will live in peace together.

Crescent and Diamonds Math Activity

In room 5 Crescent and Diamonds have been learning  about factions of a shape. I know have learnt this lesson because one side of a square is 1/4 and a triangle on one side has 1/3. These are my shapes.

In Room 5 for Sciences we are learning to dissolve water and sugar.My group and I have been experimenting with water and sugar we are focusing on the temperature of hot warm and cold water. This is a presentation I had made.

 The Way Around The World

A group of Children were sitting on wooden gate there was one girl and three boys. They were all sitting together,then biddy pick a pumpkin stalk and climbed for a little rest then they jumped off the gate.Then Biddy came up with an idea she said to the other boys let’s make our own band they knew that Mr Cooper wouldn't mind them picking some pumpkin stalks but Mr Coopers wasn't really their friend.

The Main Point of the story is that Biddy and her friends made a band a said that the way of the world.

In Room 5 for reading kit kats group have been reading a book about the way of the world I have wrote a summary of what the story is and what the main point of the story is this is what I wrote in my own words and this is a picture of the main point.  

Why Children Under 13 Should Have a Facebook Account

I think it is ridiculous to have a Facebook account.

We should not have Facebook accounts because it is getting children into trouble and it is truly against the law for them. It is so awful for them because they never know who is going to come to their house and steal their things that is why it is awful to have a Facebook page.

We should not have it because it is bad for us because you wouldn't tell your parents and you would lie about how old you are and it is not suitable for their ages and their learning.Also it is not great because the children under 13 will get into trouble for being on Facebook.

Also it is not good because it is disturbing the adults and what if they look at rode things online that is not suitable for their ages that why it is so disturbing to have a Facebook account and page.And it not good because in 20 minutes 1,323 000 photos are tagged and that even 750 million photos were uploaded to Facebook over new year’s weekend.Also 48% of young American’s said they found out about new’s through Facebook and that is why it is not good to have Facebook because it is not allowed for children to have a Facebook page or account .      

I truly believe that it is not good for the children under 13 to have a Facebook account  because it is getting them into trouble and it is treble against the law and it is disturbing for adults. People on Facebook install 20 million applications every day just think how many people have a Facebook page this is unbelievably and crazy so do not let your children under 13 have a Facebook page under 13 and it is really bad embarrassing for them because of the rode things they put online for people to see.

In Room 5 for writing we all have been writing why it is good or not good to have a Facebook account.

Filter Experiment

WALT separate insoluble mixture using a filter.Today Room 5 have made a filter in each group table in my table group Ella,Vine,Bryce, Isaac and me have all together made an filter. This filter was small looked like a pyramid then after we all went out side to test if all the table groups filters will work.This is a picture of my groups pyramid filter.

Our Food Pyramaid

We are learning what foods are healthy for our body because our lord God created us in the image of him.And that God created us to be healthy and fit.This is why me Anna and Vine made an food pyramid that tells us how many fats and oils do we eat once week and how many fruits and veges we should have is a day bread,rice,pasta is served 6-11 servings.

My Goals In The Future

We are learning to write goals for this term. I know I can do this when they are S.M.A.R.T goals

My goal for writing is to put ambitious vocabulary and sentence openers.The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be to look in a dictionary, to check where to put my  full stops in the correct place and asking my friends to help me.

My goal for Reading  is  to reach higher levels and to know  when to stop at a full stop and take a breath for 3 seconds and to take another breath at a coma . This is important because I love to read big and small books even if they're too hard too read but my goal is to read harder books. I can start reading to other people and they will want to listen to my reading. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be to read more interesting books and tell what the story it's about and the meanings.

My goal for Maths is to learn more interesting things about math’s and to learn my 14 and 13 timetables. This is important because I like to learn more interesting things about math. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be to learn my 14 and 13 timetables and to achieve my goal.

WALT type fast and bet our teacher Mrs Richardson high score  was 48 . I'm trying to bet her high score. My score was fourteen and only one word wrong .This is a screenshot I took on ten fast fingers.It shows me that I need to practice more.

My Colorful Synonym Wheel

WALT write ambitious words. Mrs Richardson gave us a boring word each. We looked it up on thesaurus. My boring word was bad. After we have search it up we get to make an synonym wheel and write or type the words. I know that I can write ambitious words because instead of using the word bad, I can use pits,  This my synonym wheel.

1. WALT Sketch images using a pencil. During class Mrs Richardson has show us a man shading light to dark with a  pencil.  We have seen that he used cross hatching and that he went light to dark. When I first tried it I thought I was going to make a Mistake but it came out all right and I kept on going until I had five lines.

Hey! Have you ever heard of Sunshine Online?
On this website it could help you if you don't know how to read.  One book I was reading about is about a boy his real name is Porter Patters Patterson,  but now his friends call him Pumpkin.  His team try to win the raft competition but there was one team they wanted to beat was the triple R. We are learning to understand difficult words. I didn't know what Bathurst was, we found out it was a car race in Australia. The most fun part is reading.

reading and writing the reason I like the reading because its funny and writing to me is interesting.
