Persuasive strategy
Yes / No
How the author used it?
Claim – States the main
point or stance
Yes
The purpose behind this advertisement , I believe is to make people think about what they can do to help others in need. And what little things they do can go a long way if they helped people living on the streets. From the actions of the man he is showing what people can do to help other even if it just a little thing it or they can go a long way to what they want to do in the future.
Big Names –  Mentions experts and
important people to support the argument

Ethos – Tries to build trust and credibility
Yes
Six actors, including a dog, a child and four adults support the message in this advertisement. As you see in the advertisement every single day the man wakes up and visits the people by helping them giving them food and money. The actor (the man) see’s a little girl and her mother begging on the road for money to pay for her to go to school. The thoughtful man give all the money he's got in his wallet just to help this mother give her children's education. He leaves food for an elderly woman but she doesn’t know that this man is giving her food to eat.
Pathos – Appeals to the audience’s emotions
Yes
This thoughtful man appeals to the audience emotions because we can see that living on the street starving without food is reality to some people around the world. This advertisement is emotional because of how people react to what this man was doing to help other, when you watch it you will see people nodding their head in disappointment  saying in their head why he was doing that - giving money to the poor feeding the starving dog.
Logos – Uses logic, numbers, or  facts to support the argument

Yes
While you watch the ad you will see on how the man is talking about if you help other you can make a difference to them and even if it is just giving a dead plant some water. Or feed a dog that maybe didn't eat for days till he saw the man or even if is just giving banana’s to you neighbour.
Kairos – Builds a sense of urgency  for the cause
Yes
The writers that giving back to the poor is and can do something to change a life or to make them happy.
Research – Uses studies and
information to make the
argument seem more convincing;  this can be in the form of words, graphs, tables, or illustrations.
Yes
As seen in the advertisement how the mother and her daughter is is asking for money this really does happen to people in parts of the world and sometimes we just don’t know about.
